Hi! I’m Joanne and I’m a Director & 1st AD, primarily focused on Music Videos & Commercial Film. Currently based in Seoul, South Korea.
Born and raised in Korea, I’ve explored different art forms since childhood. At 16, I picked up photography, which started as just a hobby but evolved into a central passion in video during my undergrad years at UC Berkeley.
Focused on storytelling through images with emotional impact, I seek to create more than just “pretty images,” but narratives that captivate viewers. My greatest joy lies in collaborating with other creatives, sharing and refining ideas to create something extraordinary.
